Dig & Clean Recipes Guide
On September 18, 2026 the official Dig & Clean Discord FAQ channel published three crafting recipes. Each one consumes five specific items, and together they introduce two brand-new rarities above everything previously documented: Genesis and Primordial. This page reproduces the official ingredient lists exactly as posted.
The warning first: do not improvise
The official FAQ posted this warning alongside the recipes:
“Do not add things to the new recipe, it will soft lock you until you craft it. You will lose those items, and not get them back.”
In other words: adding anything the recipe does not ask for locks the craft until you finish it, and the items you added are gone for good. Put in exactly the five ingredients listed below — nothing more, nothing less.
Blackhole Recipe
| Ingredient | Rarity |
|---|---|
| Sun | Anomaly |
| Moon | Anomaly |
| Earth | Anomaly |
| Asteroids | Anomaly |
| Saturn | Singularity |
Four of the five ingredients are Anomaly-tier finds, topped off with a Singularity Saturn.
Pegasus Recipe
| Ingredient | Rarity |
|---|---|
| Angel | Omega |
| Rainbow Diamond | Paradox |
| Staff of the God | Singularity |
| Void Shard | Singularity |
| Starborn Egg | Genesis |
This is the first officially documented use of a Genesis item: the Starborn Egg.
Forge (New) Recipe
| Ingredient | Rarity |
|---|---|
| Pegasus (Forged) | Genesis |
| Phoenix | Primordial |
| Philosopher’s Stone | Primordial |
| Earth’s Core | Primordial |
| Prehistoric Duck | Primordial |
The “Forge (New)” label is verbatim from the official FAQ — a brand-new craft that requires an already-forged Pegasus plus four Primordial items. Note the dependency chain: you must complete the Pegasus Recipe first, because its output (Pegasus Forged) is itself an ingredient here.
The two new rarities: Genesis and Primordial
Until now the highest documented tiers were Paradox and Singularity (see the rarity guide). The September 18 FAQ is the first official mention of two tiers above them:
- Genesis — the Starborn Egg (Pegasus Recipe) and the forged Pegasus (Forge Recipe) are Genesis items.
- Primordial — the Phoenix, Philosopher’s Stone, Earth’s Core and Prehistoric Duck are Primordial items.
The FAQ does not publish where exactly Genesis and Primordial sit relative to each other, nor their drop odds — only that both appear in the new recipes. Given the Forge Recipe’s ingredients are all Primordial while its Pegasus prerequisite is Genesis, the community reading is that Primordial sits at or above Genesis, but that ordering is unconfirmed. We will update this page when the official index or a patch note clarifies it.
Before you craft
- Every ingredient in these recipes is an ultra-rare — most come from the endgame maps. If you are still working through Shipwreck Cove or Sphinx Sands, the Mythic hunting guide and the gear upgrade order are the path there.
- Re-read the warning above before touching the crafting UI: a misplaced item is a permanent loss, and at these rarities that can be weeks of farming.
- Track new official announcements on the updates page — the FAQ channel is where this system was documented first.
